October movie schedule: "Joker: Folie à Deux" to "Saturday Night"

The Joker seduces Harley into going insane. Throughout the entire film, there is a clear attempt to completely invert this, as Lee is the true mastermind who, in the courtroom, deliberately tampers with the trial by weakening Maryanne in an attempt to bring Arthur's "full form" of the Joker to life on Joker: Folie à Deux Soap2Day. The lack of exploration into the source of the character's obsession and cunning calculations, or even the nature of her ultimate goal, undermines the originality of this interpretation of the character and her story. That's not to argue that Lady Gaga doesn't give an engaging performance; rather, it's a supporting role. There is so much more that might be expected from a character who would given what she has to deal with.
